Shortly grilled steaks with a fresh herbal oil.

Ingredients for 2 pers.:

  • 2 steaks
  • fresh rosemary
  • fresh mint
  • fresh thyme
  • olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • salt and pepper

How to prepare it:

Make sure you have good steaks, preferably from the butcher.  Put a frying pan on the heat. Melt some butter in there. Season the stakes with some salt and pepper. Place the steaks in the pan as soon as it is really hot. Sear the steak on all sides and, depending on the thickness, bake for a while. After about 5 minutes, remove the steak from the heat and fold it into some aluminum foil. Let the meat rest for a while.

Now peel the garlic, cut it about half and remove the carrot. Squeeze the garlic into a mixing bowl for your hand blender. Add a good drizzle of olive oil and the herbs. Mix the herbs until you get a nice herbal oil.

Serve the steak with the herb oil.
