Soft goat cheese works really well in sweet as well as in savory snacks. Plus this gives you a nice divers snack platter. Please find three different types of goat cheese snacks: one sweet with caramelized pecans, and two savory with sun dried tomatoes and olives and with fresh herbs.

Feta-avocado dip:

Bruschettas
  • 150 g soft goat cheese
  • 100 g pecans
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • thyme

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Spread the unroasted pecans over the baking sheet. Roast the pecans for about 10 minutes.

Put the roasted pecans with the honey in a bowl. Thread the leaves of the thyme and stir the honey and thyme into the nuts. Now spread the nuts again on the baking sheet. Put the nuts back in the oven for 15 minutes, stir through it every 5 minutes.

Let the pecans cool and chop them finely.

Grab some goat cheese with a teaspoon and roll it into a ball of your hand. Roll the goat cheese ball through the chopped nuts.

Repeat for all goat cheese.

Feta-peppadew dip:

Bruschettas
  • 150 g soft goat cheese
  • fresh parsley
  • fresh chives
  • pepper
  • 1/2 lime

Finely chop the herbs. Grate the zest of 1/2 lime and finely chop. Stir everything together with some salt and pepper. Grab some goat cheese with a teaspoon and roll it into a ball of your hand. Roll the goat cheese ball through the spice mixture.

Repeat for all goat cheese.

Fresh herbes and feta-dip:

Bruschettas
  • 150 g soft goat cheese
  • fresh parsley
  • 5 sundried tomatoes
  • 5 black olives

Finely chop the parsley. Finely chop the tomatoes and olives. Stir everything together. Grab some goat cheese with a teaspoon and roll it into a ball of your hand. Roll the goat cheese ball into the olive mixture.

Repeat for all the goat cheese.
