Perfect salad during the BBQ or to be served with a spicy curry.

  • 1 pointed cabbage
  • A handful of raisins
  • powdered curry
  • 1 sweet apple
  • salt and pepper
  • white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon creme fraiche
  • fresh parsley

How to prepare it:

Put the yogurt, creme fraiche, vinegar, some salt and pepper and a good amount of curry in a mixing bowl. Stir well and taste if it is a freshly tasting but a bit sourish sauce. Chop the parsley and mix it with the sauce. Place the raisins in a small bowl with a bit of luke warm water to turn them soft.

Grate the cabbage into fine strings. Place the cabbage with the sauce in a bowl and mix well. Peel the apple, remove the core and chop the apple into small blocks. Take the raisins out of the water and dry them. Add the apple and the raisins to the cabbage and stir well.

This salad fits perfectly with a spicy dish.
