Coming up with new dishes with meat in it remains a nice challenge. Now that I’m blogging, I feel that I owe you some dishes with meat as well. So I’ll keep experimenting but it is tricky sometimes especially since I don’t taste or eat the dishes myself. But occasionally an experiment turns out to be a great success!! My boyfriend was actually hoping that the pictures of the dish wouldn’t be good enough so that I have to make these chicken rolls again. The pictures are fine but I’ll definitely make these rolls again, he really enjoyed them and I hope you will as well!

Ingredients for 4 pers.:

  • 4 thin chicken fillets
  • 75 gr Parma ham
  • 1 jar Boursin cuisine; garlic and herbs
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

How to prepare it:

Pre-heat your oven at 200 degrees. Start prepping the chicken. Clean the fillets. To properly roll the chicken fillets make sure they are somewhat flat and not thicker than 1 cm. Sprinkle a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper on top of the chicken fillets and massage it in. Repeat this for the other side of the fillet as well. Once you are ready, put a slice of Parma ham in the length on top of the chicken fillets. Add a tablespoon of Boursin cheese on top and spread it out so it covers most of the ham, except for the edges.

Roll up the chicken fillets. Put some wooden skewers in the fillets to prevent them from rolling back. Put a baking pan on the stove. Add a bit of butter, just to make the chicken a bit juicy. Bake the rolls for about 5 minutes and make sure all the sides are fried. Put the rolls in an oven dish and put them in the oven for 8 – 10 minutes (depending on the thickness of the fillets).

Enjoy!
