Ingredients for 2 pers.:

  • 2 chicken fillets
  • 150 gr mushrooms
  • fresh thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • 150 ml cooking cream
  • maïzena

How to prepare it:

Put a frying pan on the stove. Add a bit of butter and let it melt.

Check the chicken fillets and clean them if needed and cut them into 2 thinner, equal parts so that you have 4 pieces. Rub some salt, pepper onto both sides and put the chicken into the pan as soon as the butter starts to bubble. Fry the chicken 8 minutes on both sides.

Cut the mushrooms into thin slices and remove the leave of the twigs of the thyme. Keep some twigs aside and add them to the chicken.

Put a small saucepan on the stove. Add some oil, once the oil is hot you can add the mushrooms and the thyme leaves. Bake the mushrooms for about 10 minutes stir regularly. Add the cooking cream and a bit of pepper. Let is simmer for 5 minutes before adding the maïzena. Have the sauce boil down till you think it’s got the perfect thickness.

Take the sauce and the chicken from the stove. Put the chicken on the plates and add some sauce on top.
