Small potatoes in the skin with a herbal oil. Very easy to make and delicious to eat.
Tartare in all the Christmas menus! :) Somehow this year I have been on a tartare inspired track so therefore also a vegetarian tartare of different types of tomatoes. Of course you can serve it as a generic salad but you can also make it a bit more special and serve it as a starter or side dish. The herbal sauce adds a nice bit of spicy flavour.
Cranberries is one of the typical Christmas ingredients, they are a bit bitter, a bit sweet and a very colorful addition to the menu. The combination of cranberries with fish is not very common but since I am a real fish lover I wanted to give it a try and honestly I loved it!!! Soft and warm salmon with a cranberry -orange spread. I believe it is a perfect Christmas dish if you want to do something non-traditional.
Softly grilled eggplant with ricotta and sundried tomatoes on a crispy toast. Enjoy!
Easy peasy but festive salad. I love the balance between the sweet of the pears and raspberries and the savory taste of the goat cheese. This is why I often combine fruits and cheeses in my salads. It's a nice a colorful addition to the Christmas dinner.
Puff pastry filled with spinach, mushrooms, feta and sundried tomatoes! Delicious surprise, and really easy to make!
Chicken ragout is not the most modern dish but I think it is a great reflection of the atmosphere of a Christmas evening. During Christmas it is all about being with your family in a cozy, homely feeling. This dish represents the feeling perfectly. Enjoy!
Loving it! Ravioli with mushrooms and truffle and crispy sage on top! Super starter that will impress your guests!
Steak Tartare, people are always sharing their horror stories about a visit to France where they wanted to have a really nice piece of meat and ordered Tartare without knowing this is raw meat. Raw fish is very well accepted these days but meat not so much yet. This is just a small bite and very tasty. Since it contains cow meat, you can safely eat it raw but just make sure you buy the real stuff at a butcher. This is very important for the taste. Go and give it a try!
