Nice, smooth and not too thick mushroom sauce. Good addition to steak, chicken fillets or with fried potatoes.
Ingredients for 2 pers.:
- 150 gr mushrooms
- fresh thyme
- 150 ml cooking cream
- maïzena or flour
How to prepare it:
Cut the mushrooms into thin slices and remove the leave of the twigs of the thyme. Keep some twigs aside and add them to the chicken.
Put a small saucepan on the stove. Add some oil, once the oil is hot you can add the mushrooms and the thyme leaves. Bake the mushrooms for about 10 minutes stir regularly. Add the cooking cream and a bit of pepper. Let is simmer for 5 minutes before adding the maïzena. Have the sauce boil down till you think it’s got the perfect thickness.
Good addition to steak, chicken fillets or with fried potatoes.
