Nice and fresh snack with cucumber and smoked salmon and a mustard herbal filling. This is a perfect snack for New Year’s Eve or as amuse for your Christmas dinner.

Ingredients for 2 pers.:

  • 200 g salmon
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 tablespoons crème fraîche
  • 1/2 tablespoon mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • fresh dill
  • fresh chives

How to prepare it:

Finely chop the dill and chives. Put the mustard, crème fraiche, salt, pepper and fresh herbs in a bowl and mix. Wash the cucumber and cut long slices of it with a cheese slicer or a mandolin. Cut the salmon to the same thickness as the cucumber but make sure the slices are slightly shorter.

Place the slices of salmon on the cucumber and lightly grease it with the spice mixture. Roll up the cucumber slices and put in the fridge to stiffen. Serve with some fresh dill, chives, and lemon zest over it.
