Super easy and speedy cinnamon rolls. Within 20 minutes you have a lovely dessert of coffee snack on your table. The lovely cinnamon smell lights up your entire kitchen.

  • 250 gr croissant dough
  • 2 tablespoons of caster sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • A handful of raisins
  • 2 tablespoons of nougatine nuts
  • powdered sugar
  • water
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

How to prepare it:

Pre-heat your oven to 200 degrees.

Start with the filling of the rolls, stir the caster sugar, the cinnamon and most of the nougatine nuts. Place a piece of baking paper on your counter top. Roll the dough on top and use the butter to grease the dough. Sprinkle the sugar mixture on top and divide the raisins and the remaining nuts over the dough as well. Roll the dough into small rolls. For achieve this I have divided the entire roll in smaller pieces. Place the rolls straight up into an oven dish.

Bake the rolls in the oven for about 14 minutes. In the meantime, you can make the frosting. Stir the powdered sugar loose with a bit of water till you get a nice smooth frosting. Poor the frosting over the rolls just before serving them. Finish off with some nuts.
