Great mash with a subtle blue cheese flavour but not too overwhelming. Love it!

Ingredients for 2 pers.:

  • 6 medium sized potatoes
  • 50 gr blue cheese
  • little bit of milk
  • 15 gr fresh thyme
  • pepper

How to prepare it:

Peel the potatoes, cut them into small pieces and put them with a lot of water into a boiling pan. Put the pan of the stove and heat it up.

Take the thyme leaves of the twigs. Put a small pan on the stove. Melt the blue cheese in the pan, add the thyme and stir well. Take the pan of the stove.

After 13 minutes you can rinse the potatoes, just make sure they are soft enough to mash.

Mash the potatoes. Add the blue cheese sauce and some pepper to get a soft potato mash. Add some milk if needed to smoothen the mash.

Serve the mash with some thyme leaves on top.
