Grilled and seasoned tuna steak with veggies! Healthy and quick dish but most important, very tasty!!!

Ingredients for 2 pers.:

  • 1 bok choy
  • 2 tuna fillets
  • 150 g bimi
  • 100 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 lime
  • fresh ginger
  • 1/2 red chili pepper
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketjap
  • 1 tsp 5-spices powder
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • wok oil

How to prepare it:

Cook the bimi for 5 minutes.

Stir together the soy sauce, ketjap sauce and 5-spice powder. Brush the tuna fillets with the marinade and leave to soak. Keep the remaining marinade separate.

Cut a 2cm piece of ginger. Peel and grate the ginger. Peel the garlic, cut it in half and remove the root. Cut the red pepper over half, remove the seeds, and finely chop the pepper. Squeeze the lime.

Remove the leaves from the bok choy, cut the bok choy stem into pieces and finely crush the leaves.

Put a large frying pan on the heat and heat up some wok oil. Squeeze the garlic into the oil, add the grated ginger, red chili pepper, and lime juice. Simmer for 2 minutes, then add the stem of the bok choy. Bake for 5 minutes, then add the cooked bimi  and bok choy leaves.

Cut the tomatoes in half and also add to the vegetables. Let it simmer for a moment.

Now grill the tuna very briefly on both sides. Serve the short-grilled tuna with the stir-fry vegetables. Drizzle the tuna with the remaining soy sauce.
