Herring tartar is a bold choice but if you are a herring lover, this is really good! The fresh- and sweetness of the apple, combined with the salty sea flavour of the fish and the spiciness of the horseradish cream gives you a great dish!

Ingredients for 2 pers.:

  • 2 fresh herrings
  • 1 apple
  • 1 lime
  • fresh parsley
  • dill
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp horseradish cream
  • pepper

How to prepare it:

Put the sour cream, the horseradish cream, the dill and some pepper in a bowl and stir well.

Cut the herring into small pieces. Stir the herring pieces into the sour cream. Peel the apple and cut into thin slices. Serve the herring tartar with the apple and some parsley.
