Home made chicken schnitzel! Easy peasy, tasty and just a  bit more special then when you buy it at the grocery store. Oh and it is easy and quick to make as well.

Ingredients for 4 pers.:

  • 4 thin sliced chicken fillets
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of flour
  • 4 tablespoons of twice baked bread
  • salt
  • pepper
  • powdered paprika

How to prepare it:

Mix the twice baked bread with the pepper, salt and powdered pepper in a bowl. Put the flour in another bowl and use a third bowl for the eggs. Stir the eggs well.

Clean the chicken fillets and start by swiping the chicken fillets through the flour. Swipe it through the eggs and finish off by covering it with the twice baked bread mixture. Repeat this for all the fillets and put them aside.

Put a big frying pan on the stove and add some butter. Once the butter is hot you can fry the fillets. Fry them in about 15 minutes (7.5 on each side) depending on the thickness of the fillets.
