Tender beef steaks with your own home made marinade. Grease the steaks with the marinade and let them rest for 2 hours. You will see that the taste of the herbs will complete the taste of the beef.

Ingredients for 4 pers.:

  • 4 thin beef steaks
  • fresh herbs like parsley, basil and chives
  • ½ lime
  • olive oil
  • powdered chili
  • salt
  • 1 clove of garlic

How to prepare it:

Poor some olive oil in a cup. Peel the skin of the garlic and cut it in half. Remove the root. Squeeze the garlic into the oil. Squeeze the juice of ½ lime into the oil as well. Add some powdered chili and some salt.

Chop the herbs and add them to the oil. Stir well.

Put the steaks on a flat dish or plate. Use the oil mixture to grease them on both sides. Don’t be thrifty! If you have some marinate left, just poor it over de steaks.

Cover the steaks and put them in the fridge to rest for at least 2 hours.

After two hours you can take the steaks from the fridge. Put a frying pan on the stove, add some butter. Once the butter is hot you can fry the steaks. Fry them on both sides for 3 minutes. Wrap them in some tinfoil and let them rest for 2 minutes.

Ready to serve!
