Nice and smooth mashed potato dish with fresh dill. Perfect side dish to combine with some fish!

Ingredients for 2 pers.:

  • 6 medium sized potatoes
  • 2 tb creme fraiche
  • little bit of milk
  • salt and pepper
  • fresh dill
  • lemon juice
  • butter

How to prepare it:

Peel the potatoes, cut them into small pieces and put them with a lot of water into a boiling pan. Put the pan of the stove and heat it up. Chop the dill.

After 10 minutes you can rinse the potatoes,  just double check that they are soft enough. You can check it with a fork.

Mash the potatoes. Add some crème fraiche, some salt and pepper and milk to get a soft potato mash.

Add the dill and some lemon juice and stir well.

Put the mash potatoes into an oven dish. Sprinkle some dill on top and add some small bits of butter. Put the dish into the grill for 10 minutes or until a nice light brown crust has formed.
