Ingredients for 2 pers.:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1 oxheart cabbage
  • 1 table spoon of crème fraiche
  • 100 gr Cheddar
  • thyme
  • mustard
  • milk
  • salt and pepper

How to prepare it:

Peel the potatoes and cut them in small blocks, wash them and put them on the stove, completely covered with water.

Cut the oxheart cabbage into small pieces and grate the cheddar

Once the potatoes are boiling for about 7 minutes you can add the cabbage. Check after another 5 minutes if the potatoes are well done (you can test it with a fork). If they are ready, drain them down. Add some milk, the crème fraiche and some salt and pepper and mash the potatoes.

You can add some extra milk if needed to make it softer. Once everything is mixed well, add the cheddar, a large spoon of mustard and the thyme. Stir once more and it’s ready to go!
