Time for comfort food! Let’s stop with all the resolutions that are normally not working and just eat healthy, with a great variety food that makes you happy! Once you are happy you feel much better! Therefore; mushroom ragout, this will make you feel good!

Ingredients for 4 pers.:

  • 250 gr mushrooms
  • fresh thyme
  • fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 500 ml mushroom broth
  • 4 puff pastry shells
  • ½ onion
  • butter

How to prepare it:

Chop the parsley and the thyme. Peel the onion and fine slice the onion. Chop the mushrooms into small slices. Get the mushroom broth ready.

Put a sauce pan on the stove. Melt a bit of butter and add the onion. Fry the onion for 2 minutes. Add the mushrooms and fry them for 10 minutes. Add 2 table spoons of flour. Stir well till you get one big lump. Now you can start by adding the mushroom broth. Keep on stirring and adding the broth so that you can remove all the lumps. Keep stirring till you have a smooth, soft sauce without lumps and approx.. 100 ml of the mushroom broth left.

Turn down the stove.

Heat up the puff pastries as indicated on the cover. Remove the head and put the pastries on the serving plates. Check the ragout and add some broth if needed to make sure you have a smooth ragout. Poor a bit of the ragout into the pastries. Place the head back and sprinkle some parsley on top of the ragout.
