Ingredients for 2 pers.:

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 1 broccoli
  • powdered curry
  • 250 ml cooking cream
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 100 gr grated cheese
  • pepper
  • nutmeg

How to prepare it:

Pre-heat your oven to 200 degrees.

Remove the leaves of the cauliflower and cut the cauliflower and the broccoli into s bite-sized florets. Put them into a large pan, add some water and cook them for about 10 minutes. Peel the potatoes, put them into a pan with water and cook them for 10 minutes as well.

In the meantime, you can make the curry-cheese sauce. Put some butter into a sauce pan. Once the butter is melted, add a lot of powdered curry into the pan. Let it simmer for 1 minute before adding the cooking cream. Let the sauce boil for 2 minutes and add some of the cheese (keep approx. half separate). Let the cheese melt into the sauce, stir regularly.

Drain the veggies and the potatoes. Take a big oven dish, use some butter to grease it and put the veggies on the bottom. Poor approx. half of the curry-cheese sauce on top. Cut the potatoes into nice thin slices (be careful as they are still hot) and use the potatoes to cover the veggies. Divide the remaining sauce over the potatoes. Grate a bit of nutmeg on top and finish of by sprinkling the remaining cheese on top of the dish. Put the dish in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
