A panini tosti is a perfect after gym-dish! We usually (at least when we are able to drag ourselves to the gym :)) go to the gym directly after work. So when we come home we are hungry but not really in the mood to cook something anymore. Therefore we often eat paninis when coming home. I am quite picky when it comes to food (you wouldn’t say :)) so a ‘regular’ ham and cheese tosti isn’t my favorite. This one with tuna actually is!

Ingredients for 1 panini:

  • 1 panini sandwich
  • 1 can of tuna
  • ½ lemon
  • 2 tablespoons of creme fraiche
  • powdered paprika
  • chili powder
  • pepper
  • 1 spring onion
  • black olives
  • young cheese

How to prepare it:

Open the can and poor out the oil. Put the tuna in a bowl and mash it. Squeeze the lemon. Add the lemon juice, some powdered paprika, a bit of pepper and a very small amount of chili powder to the tuna. Mash everything until you’ve got a nice and smooth tuna salad.

Cut the sandwich in half. Spread the tuna salad on top of one of the pieces. Chop the olives and the spring onion in thin slices and sprinkle them on top. Finish off with some slices of young cheese.

Put the top on the sandwich and grill the bread for 5 minutes.
