Lately, I've become a huge fan of open lasagna's, they are easy to make, delicious, very variable and they look like a party! This version is made with softly grilled pepper, zucchini a smooth ricotta and white wine sauce and finally crunchy Parma ham.... what else can you wish for?

I love pasta with Vongole, the regular version with garlic, parsley and chili is already lovely but this version with fennel and Ricard I feel is even a bit better! It's just got that extra touch plus it looks amazing!

Pasta Carbonara is one of the most traditional pasta's made in Italy. It's very easy to make although maybe a bit tricky so you do have to pay attention, it's full of delicious carbs and very pure in its taste! This is by the way one of the reasons I like Italian style cooking so much. Of course the traditional Pasta Carbonara is made with pancetta. Since I do not eat pancetta myself I decided to give the recipe a Tempting Flavours twist; Pasta Carbonara with salmon.
