Sometimes you just want to eat quick and not so healthy… somewhat at least or food that has a unhealthy vibe but maybe is not so not healthy after all. This is my not so unhealthy version of a nice sandwich with kebab and garlic sauce! 🙂

Ingredients for 2 pers.:

  • 300 gr kebab
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 red onion
  • olive oil
  • white wine vinegar
  • fresh parsley
  • 50 gr lettuce
  • garlic sauce
  • 6 kebab flatbreads

How to prepare it:

Put a small mixing bowl ready. Add a sip of olive oil, white wine vinegar, some salt and pepper and stir well. Peel the onion and cut it in thin rings. Put the rings in the dressing, make sure they are covered with the dressing and put aside for a while.

Grab yourself another bowl and start with the same filling a sip of olive oil, white wine vinegar, some salt and pepper and stir well. Chop the parsley and add this to the dressing, stir again. Cut the tomatoes in small blocks and stir them through the dressing.

Put a small frying pan on the stove. Add some butter and once the butter is melted you add the kebab. Fry the kebab for about 10 min. Stir regularly.

In the meantime, you can bake the flatbreads in the oven according to the instructions on the package.

Get everything ready to fill the breads. In this case I use a garlic sauce that I bought but next time I will give you a recipe to make your own garlic sauce.

Take the breads from the oven. Cut them open for 60% so you can fill the easily. Start with a layer of tomatoes and kebab. Now add some garlic sauce, some onions and cover with some lettuce. Repeat this until the bread is filled. Serve the remaining lettuce, tomatoes and onion on the side.
