Shrimp cocktail with a non-traditional curry sauce instead of a cocktail sauce. The curry and shrimps are a good combination and the lettuce dresses it nicely. Nice starter with a twist :).

Ingredients for 4 pers.:

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 lime
  • 1 red onion
  • fresh parsley
  • 100 gr small pink shrimps
  • pepper
  • salt
  • 2 teaspoon curry
  • fresh lettuce

How to prepare it:

Mix the curry sauce first

Grab a bowl to mix the sauce. Put the mayonnaise, Greek yoghurt, the juice of the lime, a bit of salt and pepper and 2 teaspoons of curry into the bowl. Stir everything well until a smooth sauce forms.

Chop the parsley. Peel the onion. Trim and fine slice the onion. Stir the onion and the parsley through the sauce.

Put the lettuce in a serving glass, add a big spoon of small shrimps. Add a bit of curry sauce and finish off with a bit of parsley.
