Sweet risotto!! Lovely dessert! And that’s coming from me, the non-dessert lover. I can only say; Enjoy this one!

Ingredients for 4 pers.:

  • 300 grams of risotto rice
  • 1 orange
  • 1 vanilla stick
  • 150 ml white wine
  • 700 ml milk
  • 50 gr sugar
  • 50 gr brown sugar
  • 1 bag vanilla sugar
  • 50 gr chocolate
  • fresh mint
  • 2 plums
  • 150 gr blue berries
  • 20 gr salted butter
  • 1 cinnamon stick

How to prepare it:

Grate the skin of the orange and squeeze out the orange juice. Put a pan on the stove. Melt a bit of the butter and add the rice. Stir a bit and add the wine, let the wine vaporize before adding half of the grated orange and half of the orange juice. Add the white sugar and the vanilla sugar as well. Keep stirring and start adding the milk. Do this in small sips and keep stirring.

Chop the mint and add a bit of mint to the rice.

In the meantime you can cut the plums into small slices. Put another pan on the stove. Add the remaining orange juice and the brown sugar. Once the sugar is melted you can add the plumps and the cinnamon stick. Heat up the fruits. Add the blueberries once the plums are getting soft.

Keep stirring in the rice until all the milk has evaporated. Finish the risotto by adding a bit of butter.

Put some of the rice on your plate. Add a bit of the fruits, grate some chocolate over the rice. Garnish with some grated orange and chopped mint.
