Tarte Flambé with bacon, cheese and onion
The one and only traditional Tarte Flambe! Tarte Flambe looks a bit like pizza but there are two major differences; 1) the bottom is much thinner than with pizza’s this is the reason it’s more a starter or small appetite than an actual meal and 2) you are using crème fraiche instead of tomato sauce to grease the bottom. By adding a bit of nutmeg you are adding a nice herby flavour to the tarte.
