Portobello with mozzarella and pesto

Filled Portobello's are one of my favorites as an addition to a salad. I do not need a lot more to be happy. In addition it is also a very nice vegetarian tapa dish. You can fill them anyway you want, be creative. This is an example of filling it with mozzarella, tomatoes and pesto.....mmmmm this gives a lovely grilled and melted result.

Bruchetta's....a small party on your table. I just love coming up with new varieties. Bruchetta's are so much fun to make, come up with new ones and rewarding if you see how quickly your efforts disappear :). Enjoy this new version with carpaccio and truffle mayonnaise.

Fish-vegetable tapa but also a perfect veggie dish for the BBQ. Just wrap the rolls into a small piece of thin foil and fry them on the BBQ for 10 minutes. Enjoy!

Tarte Flambé with bacon, cheese and onion

The one and only traditional Tarte Flambe! Tarte Flambe looks a bit like pizza but there are two major differences; 1) the bottom is much thinner than with pizza’s this is the reason it’s more a starter or small appetite than an actual meal and 2) you are using crème fraiche instead of tomato sauce to grease the bottom. By adding a bit of nutmeg you are adding a nice herby flavour to the tarte.

Tasty, non-standard vegetarian tarte flambe!
