Ingredients for 2 pers.:

  • 200 gr fresh tuna
  • 2 ts French mustard
  • fresh parsley
  • fresh thyme
  • chili flakes
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 egg
  • powdered paprika
  • salt and pepper
  • grated bread-crumbs
  • ½ onion

  • some pickles

  • 1 tomato
  • cheese
  • 2 hamburger breads
  • 2 tablespoons of yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of passata di pomodori

How to prepare it:

Chop the tuna in very small pieces. Put the chopped tuna in a bowl that is big enough to mix all the ingredients. Chop the parsley and the thyme.  Peel the skin of the garlic, remove the root and squeeze the garlic with the minced meat. Add the egg, the mustard, some chili flakes, salt, pepper and some grated bread-crumbs as well. Peel the onion and fine slice the onion. Add it to the tuna mix as well.

Mix the tuna and all the ingredients until you feel that all the ingredients are divided equally.  Form 2 tuna balls from the mixture.

I use a grill to make the burgers. Put the chill on, lay thet on the grill and flatten them till you have a nice small burger. Form 2 mini burger breads, I use a cooking ring for this. Cut the breads in half and put them on the grill as well.

Cut the tomatoes and the pickles into thin slices.

Grill everything for about 8 minutes.  In the meantime, you can make the cocktail sauce.

Put the yogurt, passata, a lot of powdered pepper and some salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir well.

Take the bread of the grill and put them flat on a plate. Put a slice of tomato and some pickles on the bread. Put the burger on top, add a piece of cheese so that it can melt. Add some cocktail sauce. Add a bit of parsley to garnish.
